## Membership tiers Creators offer multiple membership tiers packed with perks - think exclusive content, free messages, and discounts. Pick the tier that fits what you're looking for. Head over to [Accessing Content](https://www.passes.com/help/applied/JstwYJmphfnczJjQYtvSh4) to learn how to view and engage with content through memberships, shops, and livestreams on Passes. ## Subscription options All subscriptions renew automatically, and you can cancel anytime to stop future charges. - **Monthly:** Renews each month - **Quarterly:** Billed every 3 months - creators may offer a discount (e.g., 10%) to reward longer commitments - **Annual:** Covers a full year, often at a discounted rate ## Membership renewal timing Memberships renew every 30 days from the most recent renewal date (the refresh date). If no prior renewal exists (such as with an annual purchase), the membership creation date is used as the starting point. Each new renewal date is calculated by adding 30 days to the last renewal date, not from the original creation date. ## Canceling your subscription You can cancel anytime through the Memberships section - canceling stops any future renewals. 1. Go to **Membership** 2. Select **Cancel subscription** If you purchased an annual subscription by mistake, check the creator's refund policy to understand your options. If you cancel part-way through a billing cycle, you will continue to have access until the end of the paid period. No refunds are provided for unused days after cancellation. ## Lifetime subscription - Lifetime memberships cannot be upgraded or cancelled. Upgrades are only available between recurring subscription memberships. - Membership pause and cancellation discounts are only available for recurring subscription memberships and do not apply to lifetime memberships. - If a creator deactivates a lifetime membership tier, existing lifetime members will continue to have access to their benefits. However, the tier will no longer be available for new purchases. ## Billing cycle, cancellations, and refunds Payments are generally non-refundable. The policy states that "All items are non-refundable," so refunds are not provided for unused days or cancellations. ## Handling charge discrepancies If you report a charge after confirming cancellation, a double charge, or an unauthorized charge, your issue will be investigated carefully. Do not expect an automatic refund; the investigation is conducted to determine the cause. There is no cancellation confirmation email sent. To verify if your subscription has been cancelled, check the subscription status: - A status of "canceled" confirms it was cancelled. - A status of "active" means it has not been cancelled. ## Difference between Subscription Stacking and Double Billing ## Double Billing Double billing happens when you have **two separate active memberships** at the same time. Because each membership is active independently, you will be charged for both. If you accidentally purchase an extra membership, you'll need to cancel the one you no longer want. We can't combine or merge separate memberships after they've been created. ## Subscription Stacking Subscription stacking happens when you purchase the **same subscription again** before your current subscription ends. Instead of creating two active memberships, the new purchase is added to your existing subscription period. This extends your access, so you receive the full value of both purchases. For example: - You start a 7-day free trial. - Before the trial ends, you purchase a 1-year subscription. - Your subscription is automatically extended to include both periods. ## Managing your subscriptions The Memberships section is your home base for everything subscription-related - view active memberships, check renewal dates, upgrade, or cancel whenever you need to. ## Payments and transaction history Subscriptions are paid using a credit or debit card. You can manage your payment methods and review your transaction history in the **Payment** section. Want to dig deeper?
