Report inappropriate behavior

We've updated blocking and restricting to work the same way everywhere on the platform. ## From a user's profile 1. Go to the user's profile. 2. Click the **three dots menu**. 3. Select **Block**, **Restrict**, or **Report**. ## From Messages 1. Open the chat with the user. 2. Click the **three dots menu**. 3. Select **Block**, **Restrict**, or **Report**. ## What happens next? - When you select **Block** or **Restrict**, you'll see two options: - Block only (or Restrict only) - Block and Report (or Restrict and Report) - If you choose **Block and Report** or **Restrict and Report**, you'll be asked to provide a reason. - Once you submit your reason, a green confirmation message will appear at the bottom of your screen. ## FAQ ### Can I block or restrict someone without reporting them? Yes - you can block or restrict without submitting a report at all. ### What's the difference between Block and Restrict? - **Block** - The user can no longer view your profile or send you messages. - **Restrict** - The user can still view your profile, but they can't send you direct messages or post publicly on your profile. ### Does reporting someone automatically block them? Not automatically. After reporting, you'll still need to choose whether to block or restrict the user separately.
