Hacked account

If something feels off - unexpected charges, changes you didn't make, or logins you don't recognize - your account may be compromised. Act fast. Here's how. ## Signs your account may be at risk - Purchases or activity you didn't request - Unexpected calls or messages about services you didn't use - Receipts or transactions you don't recognize - Changes to your email, password, or payment details you didn't make ## Steps to take right now 1. **Reset your password.** - Use the **Forgot Password** option to create a new, strong password. - Mix uppercase letters, numbers, and symbols. 2. **Enable two-factor authentication (2FA).** - Turn on 2FA in your account settings. - This adds a verification code step every time you log in - a simple but powerful layer of protection. 3. **Check your account activity.** - Review recent logins and actions for anything you don't recognize. 4. **If you see unauthorized charges, follow the link.** - Log out of all devices and update your password again. 5. **Contact Support.** - Email help@passes.com and include: - Your email address - Your phone number - Last 4 digits of your card - A description of what happened 6. **Secure your email account.** - Check for login or password reset emails you didn't request. - Change your email password if anything looks suspicious. 7. **Protect your device.** - Run an antivirus scan and avoid logging into sensitive accounts on public or shared devices. ## How to keep your account safe going forward - **Use strong, unique passwords.** Don't reuse passwords across sites - a password manager makes this easy. - **Keep 2FA on.** Always.
