## Setting up memberships ### Creating a membership 1. Go to the Navigation bar and select **Manage Memberships**. 2. Click **+ Create Membership**, then choose a template or start from scratch. 3. Customize your membership: - Set the title, media art, and description - Choose Subscription Plan: Fans can choose from monthly, quarterly, or annual subscription plans - Specify the number of free messages included, if any 4. Set pricing and limits: - Set the price for each tier - Decide whether to cap the number of subscribers - If you set a limit, spots will automatically open back up as they become available - no manual action needed - You can customize pricing across the board: membership tiers, post prices, and DM prices ### Payment term options - **Monthly** - Fans are billed once every month - **Quarterly** - Fans are billed every 3 months. Consider offering a discount (e.g., 10%) to reward longer commitments - **Yearly** - Fans are billed once per year. Great for your highest discount (e.g., 15%) and building lasting support --- ## Best practices for keeping subscribers happy - **Write clear descriptions** - Be upfront about what subscribers get and when, so expectations are set from day one - **Post consistently** - Regular updates keep your community engaged and coming back - **Engage directly** - Reply to messages and feedback to build real connections with your subscribers - **Listen and improve** - Pay attention to feedback and use it to level up your offerings Nail these steps and you'll be set up for memberships that actually work - for you and your fans.
