Fan payments: methods and billing

## Purchasing content Fans can buy memberships, messages, and other content using credit or debit cards. Here's how other payment methods stack up: - **PayPal & Google Pay:** Available for one-time purchases (like direct messages) only - not for recurring payments like memberships or pay-per-minute livestreams/calls. - **Apple Pay:** Available on iOS apps, iOS browsers, and Safari on desktop. Works similarly to PayPal, with one bonus - you can also use Apple Pay to tip. - **Gift Cards:** Supported for one-time purchases only. Gift cards function like regular credit/debit cards when you add or remove them from your account. Make sure your gift card has enough balance to cover the full purchase amount; partial payments with gift cards are not allowed. ### Membership billing options - **Monthly:** Billed every month. - **Quarterly:** Billed every 3 months. Some creators offer a discount for this plan. - **Yearly:** Billed once per year - usually the biggest discount if the creator offers one. You'll see all available billing options on each creator's membership page before you commit to anything. ## Transaction fees A small transaction fee is added at checkout. You'll see exactly what it is before completing your purchase - no surprises. ## Managing your payment methods 1. Go to **Settings**. 2. Select the **Payment** section. 3. Add, update, or remove your card info as needed. ## Viewing your payment history 1. Go to **Settings** > **Payment**. 2. Open **Payment History** to see a full breakdown of your completed transactions. Also see [Sales tax](hhttps://help.passes.com/article/610e3db4-sales-tax).
