### What is Livestreaming? You can start a live broadcast on Passes and monetize your livestream either through tips, by setting a price for fans to unlock the livestream, or by charging a dollar amount per minute watched. ### Feature Highlights - A new "Live Now" section on the Explore Page showcases creators currently live, helping you get discovered by new fans. - Best streaming experience is achieved by going live on desktop using an OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) setup. - For assistance on using OBS, refer to the OBS Guide documentation. ### How to Navigate to Livestream - Go to Creator Tools and select "Livestreaming" or - Go to your Profile and click the "Go Live" button under your bio. ### Customize Your Livestream Access and Pricing 1. Decide if your livestream will be free or require payment for viewing. 2. Payment options include: - **Pay to View (One-time payment):** - Set pricing based on membership tiers. - Grant free access to specific lists. - Allow non-membership holders to purchase access, potentially at a different price. - **Pay Per Minute:** - Customize price per minute watched by membership tier. - Grant free access to certain lists. - Allow non-membership holders to purchase. ### Technical Setup and Streaming Options #### OBS Setup (Recommended) - Use a stable network and stream through your desktop browser with OBS for best quality. - In OBS, manually enter: - Server link from Passes (called "Ingestion Endpoint / Server") - Stream Key from Passes (called "Streaming Key") - After starting your broadcast on OBS, click "Go Live" on the Passes page to start your livestream. #### Webcam Streaming (Alternative) - You can go live via webcam and select latency modes: - *Low Latency:* ~5 seconds delay. - *Normal Latency:* ~30 seconds delay, which can improve stream quality if experiencing issues. ### Managing Your Livestream - Your livestream dashboard displays chat activity, viewer count, total tips, and streaming duration. - Easily copy your livestream link from the dashboard to share externally. ### Post-Livestream Recording - After ending your livestream, a recording will automatically appear in your Vault allowing you to reuse or share it later.
