Message creators and DM limits

Here's everything you need to know about sending messages to creators and keeping track of your limits. ## Sending messages to creators ### Starting a conversation 1. Head to the **Messages** section on your dashboard. 2. Search for the creator you want to reach, or select them from your existing messages list. ### Paid messages - Some creators charge for direct messages - the cost is always shown before you hit send. - Make sure you have enough funds or a payment method set up in your account before reaching out. ### Free messages - If you're a member or on Passes Premium, you may have a set number of free messages each month if the creator is also a member of Passes Premium. - Free messages reset at the start of every month, so you're always working with a fresh allowance. ### Rich media - You can send photos, videos, and voice messages to creators - as long as the creator has enabled this feature in their settings. ## Understanding your message limits ### Monthly message limits - Your monthly message allowance depends on your membership tier or Passes Premium subscription. - Check your membership details to see exactly what you're working with. - Messages refresh every 30 days (based on the user's billing cycle). - Any unused messages at the end of the 30-day period are forfeited and resets every 30 days (based on the user's billing cycle). They do not roll over to the following month ### Exceeded your limit? - Sending messages beyond your monthly limit may come with an additional fee. - Upgrading your membership is the easiest way to unlock more messaging perks. ### Group chats - Good news - there's no cap on messages in group chats. - Jump in and connect with creators and fellow fans freely.
